Japanese Plastic Kome Bitsu Raw Rice Storage Container

Japanese Plastic Kome Bitsu Raw Rice Storage Container

$47.25★★★★★1,031

We mould this bin for bulk rice, sized to take a full ten-kilogram sack at once. The floor sits flat under the weight, while the hinged top lid opens wide for clean scooping.

The footprint measures 14 in long by 9 in wide and stands 13 in high. It slides into a pantry bay or tucks under a low prep counter without wasting volume.

What makes it work

  • Capacity holds up to 22 lbs or 10 kg of dry raw rice in a single fill.
  • Dimensions of the moulded body measure 14 in long by 9 in wide by 13 in high.
  • A clear measuring cup ships inside the tub for portioning grain out by hand.
  • An interior hanging container hooks onto the upper wall to keep older grain separate from fresh sacks.

How to use

Fill the deep tub directly from a new sack of rice. Hook the small separate holder over the rim to store older rice so you finish that first before dipping into the bulk supply. Use the included cup to draw measured portions straight out of the wide opening.

Care

Wash by hand in warm water with a mild dish soap and a soft sponge. Wipe the walls completely dry before loading new grain. Keep the bin away from direct stovetop heat.
