We mould these brown seasoning pots from polypropylene in Yokkaichi with a thumb latch that flips the lid back immediately. Each container holds about 720 ml of pantry staples and includes its own 5 ml measuring spoon.

A compact footprint of 16.2 by 8.9 cm per pot sits neatly along a narrow back ledge or inside a pull-out spice rack. Three matching pots keep salt, sugar, and daily seasonings side by side.

How to use

Fill each container with salt, sugar, or starch and set the measuring spoon onto the upper ledge before closing. Press the thumb flap on the handle to open the lid while cooking at the stove. Scoop your measure, return the spoon to its perch, and click the cover back down.

Care

Wash all three pots and their spoons by hand using warm water and a soft sponge with mild dish soap. Dry thoroughly before refilling with dry seasonings so powders do not cake against the plastic walls.
